At Fervent Church, we believe life’s too short for fake faith or surface-level relationships. Whether you’ve walked with God for years or you’re just beginning to ask questions, this is a place where you can be fully known and fully loved.
We’re not perfect. We don’t expect you to be either. What we do expect is realness.
Fervent is a multi-campus church located in New Jersey – Currently Voorhees and Sewell.

We are proud to be a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) — a global family of churches committed to living out the Great Commission both locally and worldwide.
Being part of the Alliance means we value biblical truth, Spirit-led living, global missions, and a deep commitment to both grace and truth. Fervent Church is under the Metro District of the C&MA.

Fervent is a Staff-led, Board-Guided church under the denominational covering of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. We are under the direct supervision of the Metro District of the C&MA. We have complete alignment with the beliefs of our covering.
WHO WE ARE
We’re a diverse, vibrant, and imperfect community of people from all walks of life — young and old, lifelong believers, first-time church-goers, the curious, the skeptical, the over-churched, and the under-churched.
If you’ve been hurt by church before or you’ve never stepped foot in one, you’ll find Fervent is a place where you can breathe, belong, and wrestle with faith at your own pace.
OUR CULTURE
When people describe the culture here, the words they use are: real, relatable, and raw. We’re not just another church. We’re a community of people who do not have it all together but we’re figuring it out together with the help of Jesus.
We don’t believe in binary thinking… We can be fun and holy. We can be honest and honorable. We can be relevant and reverent. We can reach those outside and care for those inside. We can be loud and peaceful. We can be all things to all people.

We are a church where many from the LGBTQ+ community attend regularly, and we are committed to creating a safe and loving space for you to explore faith and grow in your relationship with God.
We also believe in being clear and honest about how we walk out our faith as a church:
While everyone is fully invited to participate in the life of Fervent — through serving, worshipping, learning, and belonging — we hold to the historic Christian view of leadership and teaching. In our house, impartation (teaching or leading others spiritually) is reserved for those who align with the full scope of our theological convictions.
