Flip the Script Pt. 1

"Flip the Script - Pt. 1"

Title: Flip the Script on Circumstances
Big Idea: Joy doesn’t come from changing circumstances — it comes from re-centering life on Christ.

Outline:
	1.	Joy is found in purpose, not circumstances (Phil 1:12–14)
	2.	Joy is found in the process, not progress (Phil 1:6)
	3.	Joy is found in the reframe, not the remains (Phil 1:15–18)
	4.	Christ is not the means to victory — He is the victory (Phil 1:20–21)

Key Lines:
	•	Joy doesn’t come from a pain-free life — it comes from a purposeful one
	•	It may feel like it’s not working, but God never stops working
	•	This isn’t the end — it’s the edit
	•	Jesus doesn’t just give us victory — He is our victory

Sermon Description

What do you do when life doesn’t go the way you planned? Paul wrote Philippians from prison, and somehow still had joy.

This message flips the script on circumstances and shows how joy becomes unstealable when Jesus is the center, not the outcome. Whether you’re burned out, starting over, or carrying loss into a new year, this message is for you.
